Solidarity with INNSE workers
We received this statement by the (new) Italian Communist Party, about a vanguard struggle of the Italian working class, we translated and release it.

The (new) communist Italian Party calls all
communists,
all progressive workers, anti-fascists and sincere
democrats,
to solidarity with INNSE workers of Milan-
Lambrate in struggle
to prevent the factory from closing down!
All who don't want to pay the crisis
of the bosses
must rally to block INNSE
from closing down.
No firm must be closed!
The struggle of INNSE workers
has become the first battle of the
Autumn Campaign
for the popular masses against the general crisis
of the bosses!
For 14 months INNSE workers have heroically resisted, and still are resisting, with determination and creativity, to the firm boss and to the landed and real estate speculation lords, who want to dismantle the factory.
The struggle to prevent INNSE's closing and start again the production is an exemplary case and of general interest for all the workers and for all who don't want to pay for the crisis of the bosses. We must win!
The bosses and their Authorities are closing or running down and get ready to close or run down thousands of firms, under the pretext of decline in orders and sales, in reality due to the general crisis of the capitalism, of their system of social relationships. They are taking to the cleaners hundreds of thousands of workers: permanent, temporary or under the table, full time or part time, direct or satellite, native and immigrant, with residence permit and illegal aliens, men and women, adults and young. They are preparing a trickle for the restart after holidays and during the whole autumn.
INNSE is an exemplary case of a firm that the bosses, the speculators and their Authorities want to close down. But it is also a particularly favourable case for the workers and the popular masses to draw out a victory. INNSE workers are particularly well organized and close-knit on the defence of the factory and the firm does not lack orders: it is being closed down principally for a speculative operation on the building areas and for contrasts among the capitalists. At the root of the closedown there is the greediness of the factory and land owners, there are the Authorities and the clergy (the Curia), who allow the landed speculation, take part in it and even support it with Police and Carabinieri mobilized against the workers. Therefore it is particularly easy for the workers to win. The participation on a large scale of workers in all the country, in Milan but also in the rest of the country, from Turin to Termini Imerese, from Imola to Naples, will turn our victory at INNSE into the signal of struggle and victory for all the other firms that the bosses and the authorities threaten with closedown or cuts: from Imola to Termini Imerese, from one end to the other of the country.
We can win! It must be highlighted the real nature of the collision at INNSE. It's a political problem, a problem of public order, an important and crucial aspect of the social system, of all the society. We must treat INNSE case for what it is. Can we allow a gang of dealers and speculators, supported by Authorities and Clergy (Curia), to take the workers to the cleaners, to destroy the heritage of knowledge and experience, the production capacity of the popular masses in our country? The government and the parties state that they sent soldiers in Afghanistan to bomb, kill and butcher to "take the democracy": is this the democracy that bosses, Clergy and their Authorities want to export to Afghanistan and to the 35 military expeditions that Italian government has currently abroad?
It's not a case that the Minister of Interior, the Prefect, the Bench, the Chief of police, and the CC Legion Command sent policemen and carabinieri to clear out the factory on a Sunday morning of August: they are criminals who try to appear respectable, try to hide their criminal deeds! They try to make the accomplished fact. They take advantage of the fact that many firms are empty due to holidays and many workers are far away. They try to avoid that the masses could rally in support of INNSE workers. And that is just what is needed to do. That is the weak point of the Authorities, the Clergy, the speculators and all the bourgeoisie! Mass mobilization is the weapon to defeat the bosses, the Authorities, the Clergy and their mass destruction weapons!
INNSE workers' struggle is going on for many months. But just the Authorities with their treachery attack on Sunday August 2 have made INNSE the first struggle of Autumn campaign of workers and popular masses against the bosses' crisis, the testing ground of the engineering industry workers' struggle for the contract renewal, the exemplary case of the workers' and popular organizations mobilization to establish an emergency government (a Popular Block government) who will carry out the elementary, urgent and necessary measures to prevent the popular masses from being subjected to the most serious effects of the general crisis in which the imperialist bourgeoisie has brought our country as well as the rest of the world.
These measures in our country can be sum up in six general steps.
1. To assign to every firm production tasks (of goods or services) useful and suitable for its nature, according to a national plan (no firm must be closed).
2. To distribute the products to families and individuals, to firms and collective uses according to clear plans and standards, universally known and democratically determined.
3. To assign to every individual a socially useful work and guarantee him, in exchange for his meticulous performance, the necessary conditions for a decent life and for participation in the running of society (no worker must be dismissed).
4. To eliminate activities and productions useless and harmful for the people or for the environment, assigning to firms other tasks.
5. To start the reorganization of the other social relationships according to the new production base and to the new distributional system.
6. To establish relationships of collaboration and exchange with other countries willing to do so with us.
These six steps constitute the base and condition for public order and security for popular masses, not the fascist, racist and police patrols to which just today the Minister of Interior of the Papal Republic, Maroni (North League) gave the starting signal! This is the public order for which all workers' and popular organizations are mobilized and in particular the proletarian anti-fascist patrols like those of Massa and Naples!
It's in the interest of popular masses to establish these measures. No government blessed by Vatican, by USA imperialist groups and by Zionist groups and formed by Confindustria (General Confederation of Italian Industry), by the other bosses' organizations and by Criminal Organizations, will never establish systematically measures inspired by these six general steps. The struggle of INNSE workers puts to the test the Authorities and the clergy.
Berlusconi's gang government, the Region, the Province, the Municipality, the Curia (and cardinal Tettamanzi), the North League (and the Minister for Reforms, Bossi) are directly involved into INNSE workers' struggle. INNSE workers, with their heroic and exemplary struggle, and the workers and popular masses who mobilize in their support, force them to openly assume their responsibilities, dislodge them from the shadow in which, thanks to Sunday, August and holidays, they seek to hide their responsibilities and to accomplish their criminal work.
May thousands of workers, young, students, women and immigrants mobilize to win the INNSE struggle, the first battle of Autumn Campaign against the bosses' general crisis!
That's enough of waiting!
That's enough of fatalism and determinism!
The ultimate factor of the capitalism crisis is the organization of popular masses, firstly the organization of the working class. Organized, the workers can put an end to the general crisis of capitalism and build a better world!
Each one of us can give his/her contribution to put an end to the general crisis of capitalism. We must promote a capillary organization of the popular masses. We must aggregate the popular and working organizations around the communist Party. We must consolidate and strengthen the communist Party which promotes the mobilization of popular masses to establish socialism.
Let's organize!
Our immediate future depends mainly on us!
A government of Popular Block formed and supported by labour organizations and popular organizations scattered throughout the territory, must take hold of the country!
Big firms must not belong to the bosses anymore!
Big firms must belong to the workers and to their new State!
To the small firms the Popular Block government will entrust orders to produce what's necessary and will allocate all the supplies they need!
Firms must not produce profits anymore! They must produce goods and services for the workers!
All society must be reorganized in compliance with this new base!
The measures to prevent the most devastating effects of capitalism general crisis and the establishment of a Popular Block government which will carry them out, open the way to the building of socialism!
With our struggle to build socialism in our country we will give a great contribution to the struggle of popular masses of other countries and to the rebirth of the communist movement at an international level!
For our struggle to build socialism in our country we can take advantage of the struggles that popular masses in other countries of the whole world are doing to face the terminal stage of the second general capitalism crisis!
This is what the new Communist Italian Party struggles for!
For this struggle the new PCI asks the contribution of the most generous and honest part, of the most advanced part of the popular masses in our country!
Comrades, workers, proletarians, women, immigrants and young: enlist to the (new) Italian Communist Party!
